Durrock.NET has transformed for the better! This site went through a 5 month transition process that included planning, research, and tests. Finally this concept was developed that provided a familiar and all new feel to the site. This layout marks the 3 year anniversary of the site which will be celebrated next month with sales! The site brings back the signature wave that appears in many of the designs of Durrock Knox and that is also included in his DK and full name logos.

What is new to the site:

• Client Accounts have been brought back. This provides the client private password protected access to their files, balance, and project details. They can also find a copy of their signed contract!
• A Flash Portfolio! They are much better than the original portfolio that I had before. It is sleeker and more attractive and I found a way to make it manageable and easy for me to keep up with.
• WordPress Utility – This site was built upon WordPress. The old site had a blog but it was in the center of a bunch of other html web pages linked with IFRAMES which is a no-no in today’s web world. Now this site is fully equipped with PHP and is running on the WordPress database. So this entire site is basically a wordpress blog programmed and designed to look like a regular website. This allows me to add so many cool widgets and plugins to the site, easily update my pages, and keep everything archived and in order!

What inspired the new look? I needed something fresh and new that still displays my signature style. Along with showing off my signature Corporate, Urban, Contemporary style, I wanted to show my growth as not only a designer, but as a developer. So with all the new features on the site, I hope that it shows that I am capable of designing fun and stylish websites for all of you! I always been lazy with my site and put my heart and soul into others so now I feel like doing that finally for myself. Hope you all enjoy it!
